Another Thanksgiving tradition

Ok, we have never burned the turkey but there have been other Thanksgiving disasters over the years. One year we cooked the turkey and forgot to take out the heart and giblets that were still in the bag inside the bird. There was the year we over cooked the turkey but under cooked everything else. There was even a year we forgot to cook the turkey.
So, burning the bird is not out of the realm possibility. We just haven’t gotten to it yet.

Now that you’ve captured it for eternity.... the turkey burning will be more sooner than later :o) Great one Ray! I love the black turkey on the table!!! Excellent illustration. Your style ROCKS!

Yeah, this is really cool. Being an Englishman in Australia I don't do Thanksgiving but I've had a fair share of similar incidents on Christmas, New Year and Easter!
Fantastic illustration - I love the expressions

Haha!! Very funny! The trials and tribulations of the Thanksgiving meal! (That's why we always go to someone else's house! :) )

Oh, the pain! I'm not sure who's suffering most, the beleaguered cook or the pizza delivery guy working on the holiday. Certainly the kids seem unscathed! Love the retro style. Puts me in mind of early Rocky & Bullwinkle.
