Savour these moments while you can. Although my children have grown into amazing adults, I still miss them when they were little and hug was all they needed.

When I was younger we didn't have a dog. When I wanted to get rid of something I didn't like, I had to use my napkin...I went through a lot of napkins.

Another Thanksgiving tradition

Ok, we have never burned the turkey but there have been other Thanksgiving disasters over the years. One year we cooked the turkey and forgot to take out the heart and giblets that were still in the bag inside the bird. There was the year we over cooked the turkey but under cooked everything else. There was even a year we forgot to cook the turkey.

So, burning the bird is not out of the realm possibility. We just haven’t gotten to it yet.
